What is CGM?
The Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is a technology that measures glucose levels in the body’s interstitial fluid through a sensor placed on the user. The sensor generates an electrical current through chemical reactions, which is then converted into blood glucose values. The measured data is transmitted to a reading device for continuous monitoring of glucose fluctuations in the user.
